Mission Statement / Misión
-
To further the well-being and support of the those with mental illness, their families and/or caregivers in three ways:
Education: Educate the people of this faith community about mental illness utilizing information from National Catholic Partnership on Disability (NCPD), National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Pathways to Promise, Faith Connections on Mental Illness (FCMI) and other resources.
Support: Help those experiencing mental illness expand their support system or network by being able to be open with more people about their illness. Build a support network for caregivers of those experiencing mental illness.
Developing Talents: Help those experiencing mental illness to identify their talents and facilitate and/or overcome obstacles to help them to develop their gifts in positive ways and become more active in the faith community.

Fomentar el bienestar y el apoyo de las personas con enfermedades mentales, sus familias y/o cuidadores de tres maneras:
Educación: educar a las personas de esta comunidad de fe sobre las enfermedades mentales utilizando información de la Asociación Nacional Católica sobre Discapacidad (NCPD), la Alianza Nacional sobre Enfermedades Mentales (NAMI), Caminos para Promesa, Conexiones de Fe sobre enfermedades mentales (FCMI) y otros recursos.
Apoyo: ayudar a las personas que experimentan una enfermedad mental a expandir su red de apoyo al poder ser abiertos sobre su enfermedad mental con otras personas. Crear una red de apoyo para los cuidadores de personas que padecen enfermedades mentales.
Desarrollando Talentos: ayudar a aquellos que experimentan enfermedades mentales a identificar sus talentos y facilitar y/o superar obstáculos para ayudarlos a desarrollar sus dones de manera positiva y ser más activos en su fe con la comunidad.
